LLE Y627
LLE Y627 is a Genotype LM breeding stock cow Sired by the award winning “LLE Thor” available for purchase with Luckyland Elk. She is Gold Registered and DNA’d to both Sire and Dam to verify parentage.
Her Sire was LLE Thor who proved what he could accomplish with this cow family by producing 2 maternal brothers to her Dam LLE 309. Both LLE Y430 who scored 367 5/8” with only 3.81% non-typical inches at 3 and LLE Y605 who scored 404 5/8” with 7.84% non-typical inches at 3 were impressive 3-year-olds.
LLE Y627 has been naturally exposed to LLE Stinger who is gold registered and Genotype LM for the first 5 weeks and to LLE Y709 who is also gold registered and LM Genotype for the last 3 weeks.
- LLE Stinger was NAEBA 1st place 3-year-old Typical in 2018 scoring 397 6/8” Typical and 414 5/8” Gross, He damaged a pedicle that year and has had damaged antler growth on that side since then.
- LLE Y709 scored 389 1/8” Typical and 390 7/8” Gross Unofficial on the farm at 3 years old.
LLE Y627 comes from a long healthy line of cows and bulls originating from a Bull Run Elk Ranch cow “BRR 4M” purchased in 2004.
Bulls produced by this cow line have all been less than 10% Non-Typical with ½ of them scoring officially Typical.
This cow line has produced some magnificent animals including Bull Run Winger which placed 3rd place Typical in the 2003 NAEBA North Central Region Antler Competition. Bull Run Winger was a maternal brother to BRR 4M.
